School Prospectus - Building & Grounds

In addition to 14 traditional classrooms the school has a large hall which serves as dining room as well as being used for assemblies and P.E. There are also, currently, separate rooms for music, ICT, Design & Technology and a newly refurbished library.

There is an extensive black-topped yard at the rear of the school, but, alas, no grassy play area.

The main entrance to the school is security controlled and is the only access point after children have entered in the morning. Secure fencing along all school boundaries provides a safe environment for pupils out at play though we remain vigilant about safety at all times.

School Closure

In the unlikely event of the school being closed ( e.g. for lack of heat or water) information would be broadcast on local radio stations as early as possible. In addition, an urgent message notification will be displayed on the home page of this site with a link to the nature of the closure. Severe weather would not, in itself, be sufficient reason to close the school.
